AI Face Swap App Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 28, 2026 Last Updated: August 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Face Swap (the "App," "we," or "us") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your information, as well as how you may exercise your rights. Please read this Policy carefully before using the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Photos and videos: Media you actively select on your device to use the face-swap feature, including facial information contained in that media.
  • Feedback and support information: Messages, email addresses, screenshots, and other attachments you voluntarily provide through email, feedback, or reporting features.
  • Purchase actions: Products or subscriptions you select and purchase-restoration actions you initiate.

1.2 Information Generated or Collected Automatically

  • Account and session information: User ID, openid, login token, membership status, points or balance, work ID, and order ID.
  • Device ID: A device ID is processed for user data analysis.
  • Advertising ID: An advertising ID is processed for ads provided by Google AdMob.
  • Device and app information: Device model, operating system and version, app version, language, time zone, and network status.
  • Network information: IP address, request time, API path, request method, and response status. An IP address may be used to determine an approximate region.
  • Advertising information: AdMob may process ad load, display, click, or reward events, IP addresses, diagnostic information, advertising identifiers, and other device identifiers.
  • Purchase information: Google Play product ID, purchase token, order status, price, currency, restoration status, and entitlement records.

2. How We Use Information

  • Process the photos or videos you select locally on your device and generate face-swap results.
  • Comply with applicable laws, legal processes, and platform policies.

3. Information Storage and Retention

3.1 Storage Locations

  • Local processing: All face-swap processing is performed locally on your device. Original images and videos are not uploaded to our servers.
  • Server storage: Only anonymized, aggregated usage data may be stored on secure servers. These servers may be located in the United States, Ireland, or other regions where service providers maintain infrastructure. Data transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

3.2 Retention Periods

  • Original images and videos: Cleared from processing memory immediately after processing is complete.
  • Processed results: Retained on your device only when you choose to save them.
  • Anonymized usage data: Retained for up to 24 months.
  • AdMob data: Retention periods are determined by Google in accordance with its privacy policy and service settings.

4. Information Security

We take safeguards appropriate to the type of data, including transport protection such as HTTPS/TLS and restricted data access. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.

If a personal information security incident occurs, we will take steps to contain its impact, investigate the cause, and resolve the issue. We will notify regulators and affected users as required by applicable law.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Google AdMob

The App uses Google AdMob to display rewarded ads and requests non-personalized ads. AdMob may still process IP addresses, app interactions, diagnostic information, advertising identifiers, and other device identifiers for ad delivery, analytics, and fraud prevention.

You can manage advertising identifiers and advertising privacy options through Android or Google ad settings. For details, please review the Google Privacy Policy and How Google Uses Advertising Technologies.

5.2 Google Play Billing

Google Play processes payments. We receive product IDs, purchase tokens, order status, and entitlement records to verify purchases and deliver services.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on the laws applicable where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your information.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Obtain a copy of eligible data.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

You may delete works where deletion is supported in the App, manage app permissions in Android settings, or manage advertising identifiers and advertising privacy options in Android and Google settings.

6.1 Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

Where the GDPR or similar local laws apply, you may exercise rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent.

6.2 California Users

Where the CCPA/CPRA applies, you may have the right to know, access, correct, or delete relevant information; opt out of a sale or sharing as defined by applicable law; and receive non-discriminatory treatment when exercising your rights.

6.3 Submitting a Request

To exercise your privacy rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify the user or device identifier associated with your request. We will provide an initial response within 15 business days after receiving the request.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. If local law requires a higher minimum age, that higher age applies. If we learn that we unintentionally collected information from a child who does not meet the applicable age requirement, we will delete it as required by law. Parents or guardians may contact us using an email address listed in this Policy.

8. International Data Transfers

The App does not provide commercial services in mainland China. Depending on where third-party services are deployed, information may be processed in Germany, the United States, other parts of Europe, or other regions where service providers operate. We will use appropriate data-transfer safeguards where required by applicable law.

9. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy due to changes in features, SDKs, service providers, laws, or Google Play policies. The updated Policy will display a new revision date. If a material change occurs, we will notify you through an in-app notice, the policy page, or another method required by applicable law.

11. Other Terms

Any dispute arising from this Policy should first be addressed through good-faith consultation. If the dispute cannot be resolved, it will be handled under the laws that mandatorily apply to you and through a dispute resolution mechanism with proper jurisdiction.

The GDPR or corresponding laws of the United Kingdom and Switzerland apply to eligible users in those regions. The CCPA/CPRA applies to eligible California users. The laws of the People's Republic of China do not serve as the uniform governing law for users outside mainland China.

This Policy forms part of the relevant terms of the Face Swap End User License Agreement (EULA). If this Policy or the EULA conflicts with mandatory data protection law, the mandatory legal requirements prevail.
